Education Forum website revamped

Our website is now brighter, better looking, easier to navigate - but retains all the education policy features our readers require.

Take a look at http://www.educationforum.org.nz - we think you'll like it. And if you have any other suggestions for improvements, drop us a line at info@educationforum.org.nz, and let us know.

A new feature is a toolbar near the top of the page with links related to the education topics we regularly cover. If you are looking for resources on schools, tertiary education, training and skills, early childhood education, or teachers, you can go straight to a fountain of knowledge by clicking the appropriate link.

The site has some great features that you will have seen before but with their bright and stylish buttons they're easier to find. This will assist you to access the huge and ever-growing database of resources.

Don't forget, the site is packed with information on all areas of education. It has back issues of our monthly newsletter Subtext, media releases and published opinion pieces, and indepth research in the form of books, briefing papers, submissions and other publications.

We also have regularly changing 'Hot Topics' and 'From Both Sides' features with links to resources and comment from around the world on topical issues. Recently we covered the NCEA and Scholarships controversies, examined how best to reward teachers and took a critical look at the case for more school autonomy.

The site was built and designed by our webmaster Marion Maslin (http://www.webbit.co.nz) with graphics design input from Wellington's Creative Services.
